Why should I take part in courses from Actionschooling?
Because it's important and fun. The fusion of action-oriented learning, solid content and availability for all is unique. You can broaden your horizons in a fun way.
Are the online courses only for students?
No. Actionschooling is for everyone from secondary school level upwards, or even earlier. Primary school pupils who successfully participate in secondary school material regularly take part. A school level is noted in the course information as a guide. Depending on the course, younger children can also take part if accompanied by their parents. Because people learn throughout their whole lives, the courses are also very suitable and important for adults. You never stop learning. So, general education is possible for everyone.
Does learning with the online courses take place on a laptop?
No. Online courses are being rethought at Actionschooling. Each course consists of several learning films according to the following basic pattern:
- Learning film 1 (teaser) with a brief introduction and the learning objectives
- Learning film 2 (material) shows you what you need for the activities
- Learning films 3+ (activities) contain careful instructions so that you can experiment, discover and practise for yourself. You can check your results in the solutions section and find out the background to them.
You are optimally guided through the learning process and can become active yourself. The courses can therefore not be consumed on the sofa.
Is the learning content created with artificial intelligence (AI)?
No. Everything is based on sound knowledge from reliable sources (own specialist knowledge, specialist books and standard works, local information, experts, reliable internet sources). The content is top-class. The bibliography is listed in the learning films at the end under "Special references" and on the work materials. If AI was used in exceptional cases, this is explicitly mentioned.
Why do you have to pay for the courses?
Because I can't live on air and love alone. Creating the learning films is extremely time-consuming and resource-intensive. The prices are very low for the quality and scope of the learning materials. In addition, depending on the course, you are kept busy and entertained for days. Every franc is invested wisely. The courses make you happy. I live as simply as possible so that I can carry my project Actionschooling and keep the prices low for everyone.
Are the online courses produced in an environmentally friendly way?
Yes, I try very hard. I use solar energy whenever possible. I try to keep my ecological footprint as small as possible (you'll find out more about this in a making-of when the time comes). My courses raise awareness for a responsible and astonished approach towards people and nature.
How do I get access to the learning films after payment?
After successful payment, you will receive an e-mail as soon as possible - usually within 24 hours at the latest - to activate your account. It contains a code that you can use to register with your e-mail address, name and password. You then have unlimited access to the purchased course and can learn whenever you want.
Can I start the online course immediately after purchase?
No. Activation can take some time (usually max. 24 hours). You should also prepare for the course. In most cases, you will first need to obtain some material (learning film 2: Material) before you can get started. Then you start with the following learning films (activities), which will guide you through the learning process.
The material required for the courses seems expensive to me?
Active learning is not possible without materials. In order for you to discover to the maximum, you need certain aids. I always try to find inexpensive alternatives and methods. You should be able to find some of the material in your household. But the essentials come at a price. Without a microscope, for example, you are denied access to the world of the tiny. You can now borrow material boxes so that you don't have to buy and organize the expensive things yourself.
All the necessary material is shown in the material films.
Can I download the learning films?
No. You can stream them for your own use as much as you want. You need to be online. The latest version is always available.
Why do I have to re-enter my address details every time I make a new purchase?
This is necessary for security reasons. Your details are stored and protected in accordance with banking standards. Increased security usually means more effort.
Is it not too time-consuming to work through the courses?
No. Learning takes time. Unfortunately, social media has shortened the concentration span. Only those who immerse themselves in a topic and get involved in something new will make progress. You should immerse yourself like a child at play. Slowing down when learning is ultimately more efficient and lasting.
Why is Actionschooling not represented on social media?
One valuable aspect of social media is the opportunity to network. However, there are so many negative influences and problematic practices of social media that I have decided not to be an active part of it. However, this makes it more difficult to reach interested people. So I am happy for every recommendation.
Is Actionschooling really a one-man show?
Yes. I programmed the homepage myself, prepared the educational content myself, recorded the media myself and edited the films myself. This way, I can ensure that learning is optimized and focuses on what is important. I call in help when needed: Expert and design advice, programming help.
Why don't I have to deselect cookies at the beginning?
Actionschooling only uses cookies that are necessary for the operation of the website and for internal statistics. There are no trades with your data and no advertisers.
